The Recycled Landscapes are made on plastic, metal, or cardboard salvaged from jar lids, boxes, and scrap. Sometimes they describe specific places, but most suggest a romantic ideal of the Hudson Valley landscape. Made using the leftover oil paint on the palette after a day of work, each surface is prepared with archival methods, varnished afterward, and ready to hang -- all with recycled material.
The images shown here represent an ever-changing wall of works.
