These works depict native, invasive, and cultivated species of plants in a way that suggests our shared physicality. The value judgment placed on a chosen subject is purely aesthetic, not concerned if the plant itself is “good” or “bad”, just visually interesting. However, each plant here plays an undeniable role in the biodiversity of its ecosystem just as humans do, and that role can either help or hurt.
