In the spring of 2021, I was the Artist in Residence at Black Rock Forest (BRF). Advancing scientific understanding of the natural world, BRF is a nearly 4000 acre living laboratory for field-based research and education. The resulting drawings and paintings made during the residency depict local invasive species that threaten biodiversity and hardy natives that promote forest health. I also led monthly immersive art experiences, The Silent Walks on the Full Moon, described here.
